In recent months, due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, firearm sales to new and inexperienced gun owners has surged. There are millions of more people carrying guns without adequate education regarding firearms safety and Arizona Laws. At the same time violent crimes are rising. Classrooms packed with mask wearing strangers, and shooting ranges scaling back hours and staff while dealing with ammo shortages are simply overwhelmed. There are vast amounts of people staying at home, seeking high quality firearms education online. Our goal is to enhance community engagement for citizens seeking firearms education.

This website provides the public with a variety of resources to get the firearms education and training courses needed to be responsible firearms owners. On April 7, 2020 The NRA  launched a number of Online Blended Learning Courses that are available to the general public without having to sign up for membership with the organization. The NRA Blended Learning Courses include the NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Online Course – Distance Learning, which upon completion offers an essential certificate for obtaining an Arizona Concealed Carry of Weapons Permit, pursuant to A.R.S. 13-3112(N)(1)(3)(4)(8). The blended learning course are combined with an in-person, face-to-face session with one of our NRA Certified Instructors to further enhance the learning and demonstrate competency. Although Arizona Department Of Public Safety (AZDPS) does NOT require Live-Fire Qualifications to issue a permit, we do recommend and offer customized shooting instruction and live-fire shooting courses for individuals looking for a high degree of hands-on and in-person training.

In addition to the NRA Blended learning courses, Our AZ CCW Online courses offer additional layers of knowledge and may serve as added legal protection regarding Firearm Safety and the specific Arizona Revised Statues  (A.R.S) related to the most critical topics a responsible firearms owner needs to understand. The online courses can be completed while observing State and CDC Social Distancing Guidelines and avoiding long lines and large crowds, confined spaces like classrooms and public gathering places. The AZ CCW Preparation Course and AZ CCW Certification Class are interactive and help people that are staying safe at home get face-to-face access to highly qualified firearms instructors to help with questions and customizing online learning and in-person private sessions. We offer mobile services such as fingerprinting and at work / in-home AZCCW Certifications for people that cannot travel. The AZ CCW Online Classes are captioned for people with hearing loss. Additionally, we combine Blended learning /Distance Learning, Live-Streaming, Online Classes, Virtual Tactical Simulations and Private In-Person and Live-Fire Lessons to provide the most complete and comprehensive learning experiences based on YOUR needs and YOUR Schedule. *Please note that the AZ CCW Preparation and AZ CCW Certification Courses are NOT NRA APPROVED CLASSES.
