WHAT IS AN NFA TRUST?
An NFA Trust is a method of owning Title II firearms that provides more legal protection than individual ownership. Created pursuant to the National Firearms Act, an NFA Trust is commonly drafted as a revocable living trust for the limited purpose of holding title to Title II personal firearms and weapons.
NFA Trusts are commonly used for ownership of federally regulated firearms, also known as Title II, Class 3, or NFA firearms. Title II firearms include short-barreled rifles and shotguns, silencers (suppressors), machine guns, destructive devices, etc.
There are several important benefits to using an NFA Trust:
Simpler registration and transfer process, eliminating the need to submit a fingerprint card and photograph, submit to a background check, and get approval from the local Chief Law Enforcement Officer. Prevents accidental felonies that can arise from possessing or receiving an NFA firearm transferred in violation of NFA regulations. Expands the list of eligible persons who may handle or transport an NFA firearm.

The course was informative, helpful and well paced. Being a novice I wanted a class that covered why it’s important to have a CCW in a state that doesn’t require it in the first place. I replayed the videos numerous times with the ability to stop at any point and rejoin. The information will serve me for years to come. Before taking this course I did not know what I did not know. I took six (6 ) pages of notes; not because I had to to pass but because of the amount of valuable information I need to sink into my thinking about CCW. If you are serious about CCW you, your family and your empire need this information. Compared to the consequences that can come about from CCW, this is, mere pennies. Don’t jump in the water without knowing how to swim or knowing the depth. Even though my wife is not keen on CCW I am encouraging her to at least take this class.
